Wanted man charged with attempted murder over Windsor Park shooting

After near four months on the run, wanted man Luisto Eusebio Hernandez has been arrested and charged with attempted murder and possession of an unlicensed firearm, police said.

A 22-year-old-woman has also been arrested, along with Hernandez, on suspicion of obstructing the course of justice for assisting him to evade the police, an RCIPS statement Thursday afternoon said.

Police said Hernandez, aged 27, was located at a Bodden Town address by officers on Monday.

He appeared before the court earlier on Thursday on the two charges and was remanded in custody pending a further appearance on 25 Nov.

Police said the arrest came in connection with an April shooting in Windsor Park, during which a man was shot in the stomach.
