Shawn Jackson has been charged with the stabbing death of Randy Kelsey Robinson, who died following an altercation at a George Town bar last week.

During a brief hearing before the Summary Court on Tuesday, 9 May, Jackson listened in silence as prosecutor Neil Kumar read out the charges against him.

“Mr. Jackson faces [charges] of murder and grievous bodily harm. These are Category A charges which can only be dealt with in the Grand Court,” Kumar said.

On Monday, Jackson, 22, of Bodden Town, was arrested and charged in connection with Robinson’s murder. The incident occurred at a bar on Shedden Road, on Friday, 5 May.

According to police Robinson, 37, of George Town, was one of two victims of the knife attack.
