A police investigation has been launched following a report of a sudden death on Friday morning.
In a statement to the Cayman Compass, a spokesperson for the RCIPS said the incident occurred shortly after 11am on 9 June at an address along Walkers Road in George Town.
“Officers arrived at the location and found a man unresponsive,” said police. “Emergency medical services attended the location and the man was transported to the Cayman Islands Hospital, where he was subsequently pronounced dead.”
The man’s identity has not been disclosed. However, police said he was a 40-year-old Filipino national residing in Cayman.
Police have said they do not suspect foul play.
