In photos: CayMAS parade a riot of sound and colour

The annual CayMAS street parade and carnival was a riot of sound, colour, sequins and feathers Saturday.

Hundreds of revellers danced and jumped their way from George Town to Seven Mile Beach under the blazing sun.

Here is a selection of some of the best shots of the day by Cayman Compass photographer Taneos Ramsay.

  1. It was a riot of sound, color … & trash. The final photo should be of west bay road, littered its entire way with beer & wine bottles, cans & single use plastic water bottles & cups. This morning show cases the irresponsibility of the spectators & lack of concern of the parade organizers who should have set out trash receptacles along the entire parade route.
