Cayman Islands residents can now collect their renewed drivers’ licences from the post office, rather than having to visit Department of Vehicle and Drivers’ Licensing offices.
Government announced the new service, which is available at post offices across all three islands, in a press release on Tuesday.
Motorists can renew their licences online at www.dvdl.gov.ky and pick up the licences at the post office. They can also continue to renew and collect their licences in person at DVDL locations.
Drivers can also choose to receive their licences via mail, by emailing [email protected] requesting delivery.
They will be given the option to choose post office collection and will be informed via text or WhatsApp when it is ready for collection, the release noted.
The Cayman Islands Postal Service also offers a home-delivery service to customers for a minimal fee; contact the post office for details.
Any items not collected or delivered within 15 days of posting will be processed for return-to-sender.
