Wanted man Sven Brett Connor is now in police custody, while the search for a second wanted man, Joel Christopher Duncan, continues.
Police, in a brief statement Monday, said that Connor, 42, of East End, was arrested in relation to matters concerning serious assault and other threatening and violent crimes.
Connor, also known as ‘Dapper’ or ‘Dapps’, was listed as a wanted man late last week as police sought his whereabouts.
Police said Monday that Connor remains in custody in relation to a breach of court order offence for which he was also arrested.
Meanwhile Duncan, 36, who goes by the name ‘One Don,’ remains on the run.
He is wanted in connection with drugs and firearms offences dating back to early September.

He is described as a “violent and dangerous” suspect.
Duncan is wanted in relation to the recovery of two firearms, ammunition and ganja at an address in the capital on 4 Sept.
“He is to be treated as violent and dangerous, and should not be approached,” police said in a press release issued on Thursday, 5 Oct.
Anyone who sees him should call 911 immediately.
Duncan is described as being of dark complexion, about 6’1” in height, approximately 190 lbs, with brown eyes and black hair. He is also known as ‘One Don’.
Police also issued a reminder to the public that it is an offence, carrying a prison sentence of up to two years, to obstruct officers in their efforts to catch someone who has committed a crime.
Anyone with information about Duncan’s whereabouts is encouraged to call the George Town Police Station at 949-4222. Anonymous tips can be provided directly to the RCIPS via the confidential tip line at 949-7777, or through the RCIPS website.
