Police are investigating an incident in which shots were fired at a George Town address early Friday morning.
Police said officers responded to a report that shots had been fired at an address off Anthony Drive, George Town earlier in the morning.
Checks were conducted by officers and several spent shell casings were recovered.
The scene is being processed, police said.
This the second firearm related incident within 24 hours.
On Thursday night, shortly before 10pm, a man was shot and killed in East End off Seaview Road.
Police are yet to release his identity.
The RCIPS Criminal Investigations Department and detectives are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information about the incident to “urgently come forward”.
Anyone with information on the murder is encouraged to call the Major Incident Room at 649-2930.
Meanwhile, George Town CID is investigating the incident off Anthony Drive and has asked anyone with any information to contact detectives at 949-4222.
