A near weeklong search for wanted man Gerado Connolly ended in his arrest during a Sunday morning raid in Windsor Park, George Town.
Police say Connolly, 32, of Bodden Town is a suspect in burglary and robbery offences.
In a statement, police said Connolly was arrested just after 10:15am on Hawkins Drive.
During the arrest, Connolly is said to have become combative and allegedly threatened officers with a machete, which resulted in him being arrested for additional offenses, including resisting arrest and causing fear or provocation of violence.
Connolly is in custody pending further investigation, police said.

Police thanked the public for their assistance in helping them locate Conolly.
