Counsel for the defence and the prosecution continued legal arguments for the third consecutive day in the McKeeva Bush indecent assault trial.

Justice Stanley John has instructed the media not to report on any of the arguments and submissions by counsel, which were made in the absence of the jury of five women and two men.

The former premier and Speaker of the House has denied two charges of indecent assault and two alternate charges of common assault.

Those charges stem from two separate incidents that allegedly occurred on the night of 13 Sept. 2022 at a cocktail reception, which was part of a Caribbean Tourism Association conference, at The Ritz-Carlton hotel.

The jury has been told to return to court at 10am on Thursday.
