A tropical wave arrive is expected to arrive in the area overnight, only days after Cayman had its share of moderate effects from Hurricane Beryl.
The National Weather Service said in a 10am forecast that a ridge of high pressure is passing over the northern Caribbean, and residents can expect moderate easterly winds and seas.
The storm may bring increased cloudiness, showers and rougher seas later.
Experts predict only a 30% chance of showers throughout the day, accompanied by a heat index of 109 degrees Fahrenheit.
The service warned small crafts to exercise caution over open waters tomorrow.
