Cayman squash team set for tournament in Guyana

A team of 13 male and female athletes will represent the Cayman Islands at the upcoming Caribbean Area Squash Association Senior Championship, scheduled to take place in Guyana from 18-24 Aug.

Cayman will be competing across seven categories, with a team that represents the island’s best, ready to swing their rackets to gold.

The team was selected from the winners at the Cayman Islands Senior National Squash Championships, held in June.

Cameron Stafford, Julian Jervis, Jace Jervis and Jake Kelly will line up for the men’s team, with Emma Turnbull, Kali MacLean, Michaela Janse van Rensburg and Courtney Stafford competing for the women’s squad.

Keith Higgins will be playing in the men’s 50+ division, and Sardar Ali Khan will compete in the 60+. For the women, Lori-Ann Foley will play in the 40+, Margit Daugela in the 50+ and Marian Goodall in the 60+.
