Police say they have arrested two people for drug offences as they continue to search for a suspect on the run in Cayman Brac.
Officers from the RCIPS and Customs and Border Control arrested a man and a woman for possession of ganja after carrying out an operation at a residence at Fish Bowl Loop, on the Bluff.
In a statement on Sunday evening, police said the arrests had been made as a result of “reports from the public and other operational activity related to wanted man, Shavan Claude Brown”.

Earlier on Sunday, the RCIPS said they had switched their attention from an earlier suspect to Brown.
Brown is being sought in relation to the seizure of a boat and drugs on a beach at the South Side area of the Brac on Thursday. Police, on Thursday, arrested two men in relation to that seizure.
Police said they have not yet located Brown, who remains at large.
According to the RCIPS, the Brac community can expect to see further operations as the police, along with Customs and Border Control and Department of Environment officers, continue in their pursuit of Brown.
Police said a Search Coordinating Command Centre had been established, and armed police officers from Grand Cayman remain in the Brac searching for the wanted man.
Boat owners are being advised to ensure their vessels are secured.
“The RCIPS wishes to thank the Brac community for its support and all information provided so far in relation to tracking down the wanted man,” police said in the statement.
The public is being advised not to approach Brown if they see him, but to call 911 immediately.
