Police are hunting a machete-wielding robber after an early morning raid on a George Town convenience store.
Officers said “a quantity of cash” was taken by the man, who was wearing dark clothing, from the store off Eastern Avenue.
He escaped on foot and is thought to have headed in the direction of nearby School Road.
The incident happened on Tuesday at about 1:15am.
Police have appealed for anyone with information that could help the inquiry to contact them.
