“I am very excited to be coming to the Cayman Islands. I have actually never been. In this time we are living in, it gives me great pleasure to visit my fans all over the world and try to offer music as inspiration,” Matisyahu told the Cayman Compass.

The Grammy-nominated singer and songwriter, whose real name is Matthew Paul Miller, arrived on the music scene in 2004, releasing his first album, ‘Shake off the Dust… Arise’. He’s known for his conscious and spiritual lyrics, fusing his Jewish roots with reggae, rock and hip-hop, adding a unique flair of jazz and soul.

Matisyahu has seven studio albums under his belt, along with five live albums, two remix albums, five EPs and more than 20 singles. His catalogue of music includes hit songs, ‘One Day’, ‘King Without a Crown’, ‘Sunshine’ and ‘Jerusalem’. He has received two gold albums.
