Nominations are now open for the Cayman Islands Tourism Association’s annual Stingray Tourism Awards, which recognise outstanding contributions to the industry across all three islands.

The awards, now in their 22nd year, celebrate people working in the hospitality industry, including in the accommodation, restaurants, water-sports and transport sectors, with categories for employee of the year, rising star and manager of the year.

Winners will have to demonstrate leadership, community involvement, exceptional contribution to their role and whether they are a good ambassador for the Cayman Islands.

“Great achievements often start with a simple idea and meaningful awards are born from a sincere appreciation for excellence,” said Sharlene Brenkus, Cayman Islands Tourism Association president.

“We are committed to recognizing and celebrating outstanding contributions to Cayman’s tourism industry across all three islands. The Stingray Tourism Awards were born out of that vision, and each year we come together to honor those who truly go above and beyond.”
