The Royal Cayman Islands Police Service has confirmed that wanted man, Patrick Campbell was captured the morning of Thursday, 18 Dec.

A press statement from the police media unit said officers conducted a search operation at a residence in West Bay, and during the search, Campbell was arrested.

The statement confirmed that Campbell currently remains in custody pending further investigations.

The 20-year-old-man was being sought in relation to robbery and drug-related offences. With Campbell in custody, all three of the recently published wanted persons have now been rounded up, and they are behind bars.

The press statement from the police quoted Commissioner of Police Kurt Walton who said, “This operation is an example of the RCIPS’ commitment to safeguarding the public and our relentless crack down on those persons committing crimes in our community. We are committed to ensuring that the Cayman Islands remains a safe place to live, work, and visit.”

Walton added, “The arrest of this (final) outstanding individual underscores our persistence in pursuing those who attempt to evade justice. The RCIPS thanks the public for the invaluable assistance provided in locating these individuals; our partnership with the community is vital to our success.”
