There are New Year’s Eve events to fit every budget across Cayman this year, so whether you’re planning on splashing the cash or prefer a more budget-friendly option, you won’t be short of options.

From fine dining and free-flowing cocktails to family favourites, there are many ways to bid farewell to 2025 and ensure the best possible start to 2026. Many restaurants are putting on special New Year’s Eve dining experiences, but these are likely to be popular, so it’s a good idea to book in advance if you can.

Free events

Camana Bay Fireworks, The Crescent, Camana Bay, 8pm
Who says you have to wait until midnight to celebrate the New Year? The annual Camana Bay Fireworks are an island tradition and a favourite with families. The fireworks are set to go off at 8pm so get there early to find your spot.

Seven Mile Beach, midnight
Hotels and restaurants along Seven Mile Beach will be launching spectacular firework displays on the stroke of midnight, so grab your friends and families and head for the beach for a free ringside seat. Public Beach is a particularly popular spot for parties and picnics as it gets great views up and down the coast but it can get pretty hectic though so it’s probably best to pick a quieter spot on Seven Mile unless you are looking for that totally-immersive firework experience.

Fidel Murphy’s Irish pub and restaurant, West Bay Road, 7pm
With its Irish links it’s hardly surprising that Fidel’s is a popular spot for New Year’s Eve revelry. For homesick British and Irish expats, it’s a chance to celebrate New Year at the same time as their friends and families back home, with a countdown, glass of fizz and televised fireworks from Dublin at 7pm. It’s also ideal for anyone who wants to celebrate New Year, but also wants to be in bed well before midnight.

Splashing the cash

Night Amongst the Stars, Pom Pom, Hotel Indigo
At $650 a ticket, this is possibly the priciest New Year’s Eve celebration to be found but as the organisers say: “Arrive early, indulge fully, celebrate completely.” This New Year’s Eve experience goes from 8pm to 1.30am and the ticket price includes food, drinks and entertainment, including free-flowing Dom Pérignon and cocktails, a culinary selection including canapés, caviar, foie gras, oysters and steak, plus live DJ entertainment and of course, rooftop views of the fireworks at midnight. A NYE Countdown ticket for $300 gets you entry at 11pm to enjoy champagne, cocktails and the dancefloor.

Rasa, Hotel Indigo
As well as its blow-out bash at Pom Pom, Hotel Indigo is hosting a 10-course ‘epicurean feast’ at its fine dining restaurant Rasa at $350 per person, including wine pairings. Diners and hotel guests can enjoy an exclusive afterparty at the poolside Bata Bar from 10pm-12.30am including live DJ entertainment.

Bonny Moon, Public Beach
Join the revellers at Bonny Moon beach bar for a three-course family-style dinner and live entertainment from dancehall legend, Sister Nancy and DJs from 7-11pm, $195 per person. The evening’s concept is inspired by the sci-fi classic Close Encounters, with Bonny Moon transformed into a retro spaceship atmosphere — think glitchy lights, otherworldly visuals, and a mysterious, immersive vibe. After 11pm walk-ins are welcome for drinks, DJ beats and barefoot dancing under the stars before the fireworks officially start at midnight.

Kimpton Seafire, Seven Mile Beach
Like its sister hotel Indigo, there are several options available at Kimpton this New Year’s Eve. The Aurea ballroom is hosting a epic buffet with drinks from 7-10pm for $350 per person. The price include entry to its NYE at the Beach Deck after party from 9:30pm to 12:30am that features DJ entertainment, bar, canapés and beachside views of the fireworks. Individual tickets for the Beach Deck party available for $150.

Black & Gold NYE at Ave, Kimpton Seafire
Dressing up is optional but who can resist joining in with the black-and-gold theme at Kimpton’s Mediterranean restaurant Ave which promises gourmet food stations and “decadent” hors d’oeuvres. Between 6-9pm. Tickets $225.

Anchor & Den, Marriott Grand Cayman
New Year’s Eve dinner at the Marriott’s restaurant includes bottomless drinks, a lavish buffet including caviar, oyster and herb-crusted lamb and oceanfront views of the fireworks. Tickets $200 per person, or $240 including drinks.

Flamboyant, Grand Old House, South Church Street
Grand Old House isn’t holding back the hype for its New Year’s Eve event, inviting guests to “unleash your boldest self” in a night where “elegance meets extravagance”. Guests are encouraged to wear their most dazzling, daring and unforgettable costumes in this $250-per-person ticketed event. The price includes a welcome drink, culinary stations, DJ entertainment and an oceanfront view of the fireworks.

New Year’s Eve at Luca, Caribbean Club, Seven Mile Beach
There are two options to celebrate New Year’s Eve at Italian restaurant Luca. Guests can dine from the a la carte menu at 5:30pm or 6:15pm, or a five-course fixed menu at 9pm for $175. As well as food there will be a DJ and dancing and of course, a great view of the fireworks from Seven Mile Beach.

New Year’s Eve Beach Party at Kaibo Beach, Cayman Kai
Away from Seven Mile Beach, Kaibo Beach in Cayman Kai, is holding a party by the sea from 6pm to 1am. There’s a DJ between 8pm and 1am and a BBQ feast dinner will be served. Tickets with food are $150 and $50 for non-dining entry.

NYE at Cask, Forum Lane, Camana Bay
This cosy whisky bar is open 12pm-10pm on New Year’s Eve with specials on fizz all day and a New Year’s Eve “pre-party” between 6pm and 10pm with complimentary cheese and charcuterie boards to accompany your drink of choice.

Getting around on New Year’s Eve

Each year, the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service and the National Drug Council, along with a number of partner agencies, launch their #ArriveAlive345 campaign, which encourages partygoers to not drink and drive for the festivities.

To help everyone get home safely, the New Year’s Eve Purple Ribbon Bus will operate on 31 December 2025, offering freerides to residents and visitors in Grand Cayman from 9:00pm – 5:00am and Cayman Brac between 9:00pm – 2:00am.

This year, five additional bus routes have been added, extending service into more residential areas and helping passengers get closer to home. Buses will serve all districts on Grand Cayman and Cayman Brac. A luxury limo bus will also be in operation, stopping at major hotels along Seven Mile Beach.

To catch a ride, just wait outside any major restaurant, bar or bus stop along the route, look for a bus with purple flashing lights and reflective signage, confirm it’s heading your way, then hop on board.
