There will be a number of road closures over the Emancipation Day weekend.
From 9pm on Saturday, 2 May, until midnight on Monday, 4 May, Albert Panton Street and Cardinall Avenue will be closed.
Also, from 11am to midnight on Monday, 4 May, Seafarers Way, from Goring Avenue to Fort Street, and the junction of Goring Avenue and Shedden Road will be closed.
Police said during these road closures, the Port Authority will have local access and security will be provided at barricade points.
“Motorists are advised to exercise caution when travelling in these areas during these times, and to obey any traffic signs, barriers, or instructions from officers present,” police said.
