JJ’S heroes save the day

The heat is turning up in the Division 2 T20. It looked like UCCI/WB had it dusted and bagged up but then again it only looked like that.

Having scored 113 and then reducing JJ’S to 65 for 7, UCCI/WB must have felt at that point very comfortable. But it was JJ’S heroic batsmen Nigel Strough and Franklin Hinds who combined well in an unbeaten 8 wicket partnership of 49 runs producing an outstanding victory by 3 wickets with 8 balls to spare.

Aims Consultants continued their march towards a semi-final spot in Division 2 T20 with a 6 wickets victory over Schools.

Batting first Schools were limited to 74 for 7 wickets with Paul Laidlaw 21 and Joeniel Bent 13 the main contributors. Aims Consultants easily controlled their victory losing only 4 wickets.

Greenies Too showed their superior team strength in Division 2 by brushing aside Chillies in a Sunday fixture. Greenies Too had a surprisingly small score of 113 but their bowling was as usual very difficult to handle and Chillies were bowled out for 89. Greenies Too won by 24 runs.
