Real estate company owner and broker Antonio Paolini, 74, appeared in Summary Court on Tuesday charged with theft of $51,600.
Paolini was charged last week with theft following an investigation by detectives from the Financial Crime Unit.
Police reported the money was allegedly stolen during a real estate transaction.
Magistrate Grace Donalds extended bail until Paolini returns to court for mention on Aug. 19.
