Teddy Bear clinic set

The American Medical Student Association at St. Matthew’s University will host a Teddy Bear Clinic Saturday

They are inviting children from all over Grand Cayman, to take their Teddy Bear or favourite stuffed animal into a clinic for a check up.

The Teddy Bear patients will have a full check up done by SMU Medical Students. The children who participate will have the opportunity to learn more about a trip to the doctor’s office and hopefully realise that it’s not such a scary place.

There will also be colouring, snacks and juice available. All the children will receive a certificate for attending the Teddy Bear Clinic and Teddy will get a clean bill of health.

The clinic will be held at St. Matthew’s University across the street from the Westin Hotel on Seven Mile Beach.
