The Traffic Department of the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service announces the following road closures to facilitate the Pirates Week festivities in the George Town District.
Friday, 10 November from 5.30pm- 3am
• Harbour Drive to Fort Street
• Boilers Road to South Church Street
• Shedden Road to Elgin Avenue
These closures are to facilitate the fireworks display and street dance.
Saturday, 11 November from noon – 2am
Mary Street to North Church Street
Mary Street to Fort Street
Edward Street to Dr Roy’s Drive
Shedden Road to Dr Roy’s Drive
Elgin Avenue to Hospital Road
Goring Avenue to Elgin Avenue
Warwick Drive to South Church Street
Goring Avenue to South Church Street
Memorial to South Church Street.
These closures are to facilitate the pirates landing and the street dance.
