An armed robber made off with cash in the early hours of Monday morning in George Town, police have confirmed.
No shots were fired during the incident and there were no injuries reported, police said.
The incident happened shortly after 4am on Martin Drive.
Police said a man was leaving a location on Martin Drive when he was approached by a man he did not know.
The man brandished a firearm at the first man and demanded cash from him.
The armed man then fled the location with a quantity of cash.
The suspect was wearing a long-sleeved grey shirt, a grey hat, and had his face covered, police said.
The matter is currently under investigation and anyone who may have seen the incident or have any other information, is asked to contact George Town CID at 949-4222.
