One man was left with multiple stab wounds following a dispute on Seven Mile Beach on Wednesday.
Police, in a press release issued Friday afternoon, appealed for the public’s assistance as officers investigate the incident.
Officers responded to a report that a man had been taken to hospital shortly after 12pm with serious stab wounds to his face, arms and back, police said in the release.
The officers, through their inquiries, found out that the man had been stabbed during a dispute with another man at the Seven Mile Public Beach earlier that day, police said.
Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone who may have any information on the incident to contact George Town CID at 949-4222.
