Police are holding a third man who has been arrested in connection with last week’s fatal stabbing of Randy Kelsey Robinson.

Two others have been charged with murder and wounding with intent, following the violent incident at the Carib Café in Shedden Road, George Town, in the early hours of Friday morning, 5 May.

Robinson, 37, died after being stabbed at the scene, and another man also received serious stab wounds in the same incident.

Police arrested Shaun Jackson, 22, from Bodden Town on Friday, and he was later charged with murder and wounding with intent. He appeared in court on Tuesday, where he was remanded in custody and ordered to appear before the Grand Court on 26 May.

The RCIPS arrested a second man, also of Bodden Town, on Wednesday. He has now been formally charged with murder and wounding with intent and is expected to appear in court today.

On Thursday, 11 May, a third man, age 28, of George Town was arrested, also on suspicion of murder and wounding with intent, in West Bay, police said. He is currently in custody pending further investigations.

Detectives continue to seek assistance from the public with information relating to the murder.

In a statement issued following the murder, Detective Superintendent Peter Lansdown said police are aware that several people were at the scene at the time of the stabbings, and he appealed to them to come forward.

“Any bit of information that you may be able to offer is valuable to the investigation,” he said.

Police noted that a reward is given for tips which lead to an arrest and charge, that are submitted anonymously via the Cayman Crime Stoppers website.
