A 55-year-old George Town man was found dead on Barefoot Beach in East End Wednesday afternoon, 28 June, police have reported.
In a brief statement issued Wednesday night, the RCIPS said police officers remained at the scene, adding that the circumstances are not believed to be suspicious.
Police said they received a report around 5:55pm of a man being found unresponsive at the beach. Emergency services attended the location where he was subsequently pronounced deceased.
Police did not release further details on the incident.
Investigations are ongoing.
