Tourism employees who distinguished themselves during 2023 through their outstanding achievements and stellar service have been presented with awards.

The Cayman Islands Tourism Association (CITA) hosted the 17th Stingray Tourism Awards at Government House in Grand Cayman on 1 Dec.

CITA president Troy Leacock thanked each of the finalists for providing the quality of service that the entire industry aspires to achieve, a CITA press release said.

“This year, the nominations were so well received and the individual stories so inspiring that our judges had a tough time during the selection process,” he said.

Governor Jane Owen presented caymanite trophies made locally by Horacio Esteban to each of the winners, and a roundtrip ticket to any Cayman Airways destination.
