Police are investigating the theft of two boats in Prospect, one of which was subsequently recovered in South Sound.
The boats were reported stolen from vacant land in Prospect just after 8am on Thursday, 8 Feb.
One of the boats, a white 27-foot Key West Centre Console with two 150-horsepower Yamaha engines, was recovered around 4:30pm on the same day on South Sound Road, following police investigations.
The second boat, a white centre console 18-foot Boston Whaler with a dark-coloured 115hp Evinrude E-Tech engine, and a green-and-white Bimini top, (pictured) has not been found.
