Two men pleaded guilty on Friday in Grand Court to committing an armed robbery at a JN Money counter at a West Bay store.
Randon Odell Davies and Lincoln Donovan Sibron, appearing via video link from Northward Prison, on Friday, both admitted two counts of robbery, stemming from a hold-up at Vidette’s Grocery on Reverend Blackman Drive on 8 Feb. this year.
They pleaded guilty to stealing CI$23,436 and US$1,215 from the JN Money Transfer counter inside the shop, as well as CI$1,500 and two packs of cigarettes from the grocery store.
They both also pleased guilty to one count of possessing an imitation firearm to commit the robbery.
Justice Cheryll Richards ordered social inquiry reports, as well as victim impact reports from the people in the store who had been threatened by the two men in the course of the armed robbery.
Both men were remanded in custody, and are due to be sentenced on 6 Sept.
