The Cayman Pride Parade has been rescheduled for Saturday, and the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service has announced planned road closures.
The road closures will run from 4-6pm. The route starts at XQ’s Bar on West Bay Road and ends at Cayman Cabana on North Church Street.
Police said the road closures will be “rolling,” closing and reopening in four separate sections as the parade progresses.
Starting at 4pm, the closures will be as follows:
- West Bay Road at XQ’s
- West Bay Road at Eastern Avenue
- North Church Street at Bodden Road
- North Church Street at Mary Street
RCIPS advises members of the public who aren’t watching the parade to avoid the stretch of road. Motorists travelling to West Bay should take the Esterly Tibbetts Highway.
