A masked robber, armed with a machete, held up a service station in Bodden Town on Saturday night, police have reported.

The robbery occurred at the service station on Bodden Town Road shortly after 9:45pm, police said.

“It was reported that a masked man dressed in dark clothing had entered the establishment, brandishing what appeared to be a machete, and demanded money. He then fled the location on foot with a quantity of cash, toward the rear of the service station, in the direction of Manse Road,” the RCIPS said.

No one was injured during the robbery.

The suspect is described as being of slim build, and was wearing a black hooded shirt, face mask, and dark pants.
