A ‘listening tour’ designed to canvas public opinion has been announced by the opposition People’s Progressive Movement.

The party said the meetings were organised to give members of the public a chance to air their concerns, give their views on the PPM and highlight matters that affect the islands.

Deputy Leader Kenneth Bryan said, “The number one priority of any representative is to ensure they are reflecting the views of the people who elected them.

“This listening tour provides us with a vital opportunity to hear directly from our constituents, ensuring we are on the right track regarding the issues that truly affect their daily lives.”

The first of the series of the series of meetings will be held in Constitution Hall in George Town on Tuesday, 3 March from 6pm to 8pm.
