Six Toastmasters from Cayman will advance to the international organisation’s inaugural Division Contest next month in Kingston, Jamaica.

Toastmasters Marjorie Bush-Dixon and Kimberley Conolly were awarded Area Director of the Year and Toastmaster of the Year 2018-2019, respectively, in the club’s division awards.

Two members of local Toastmasters clubs will represent the Cayman Islands next month in the Caribbean District Conference in Bonaire.

The Toastmasters’ year began July 1 with the appointment of two area directors in the Cayman Islands for the first time after the area realigned to allow more Toastmasters from Cayman the opportunity to serve at district level.

Cayman Toastmasters have proven they can certainly “talk the talk” after engaging in a month of community outreach activities through the weekly radio show “Toastmasters on Air.”
