A customs officer and four other have appeared in court, charged in relation to a conspiracy to illegally import firearms and cannabis.

Cayman Islands-based broker Oliver-Barret Lindsay and California-based co-defendant Gannon Giguiere pleaded guilty to conspiracy, related to securities fraud, in US federal court.

Four men and one woman, all foreign nationals, entered various pleas to credit card related charges on Friday. Sentencing was set for Tuesday after Crown counsel Toying Salako said she was of the view that social inquiry reports would serve no useful purpose.
