A 22-year old man from Bodden Town has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, in relation to a shooting that took place earlier this week, in which the victim suffered a gunshot wound to the back of his head. 

Police are investigating a report of a gunshot being fired during a fight at a home in West Bay on Thursday night, 16 June.

A single gunshot is thought to have been fired from a vehicle travelling along Bankers Road, West Bay, on Sunday evening, 14 May.

A man sustained a gunshot wound during a shooting on Eastern Avenue, the Royal Cayman Islands Police reported. The incident near Avon Way took place around 6:30 p.m. Monday. The victim was taken to the hospital.
