A man who pleaded guilty to burglary in Summary Court has been sent to Grand Court for sentencing because a magistrate’s sentencing power is limited to four years for this offense.

A man accused of burglary at Morritt’s Tortuga Resort in East End pleaded guilty in Summary Court on Tuesday.

A man charged with burglary at an East End resort told Magistrate Valdis Foldats late Friday that he would wait for an attorney to apply for bail on his behalf. Donald Arlington Miller, previously known as Donald Arlington Hall, is accused of entering a guest’s room at Morritt’s Tortuga Resort.

A September trial has been set for three men accused of involvement in the cocaine robbery at Morritt’s Tortuga Resort in East End on Dec. 24 last year.
