Cubans travelled to Brac on holidays

The flow of Cuban migrants in and out of the Sister Islands did not stop for Christmas and the New Year.

Six men and three women arrived 30 December at the Panama Canal and left Tuesday afternoon from the West End Cemetery Pier.

The same day, seven of the 18 migrants who have been staying at the Heritage House in North East Bay left from Little Cayman.

Nine Cubans, including three women arrived at the Creek Barcadere Tuesday, 4 January, and left the same day after spending the night under the cabana on the iron shore.

Four migrants arrived Wednesday afternoon and left after a brief stop on Cayman Brac.

It is believed that all Cubans that were on Cayman Brac who have not continued their journey by boat have now been transported to Grand Cayman.
