The Water Authority has announced the completion of restoration works on pipeline yesterday.
The last remaining portion of the Authority’s water distribution system, the area east of Portofino Restaurant in East End and extending to just beyond Castaway Cove, was disinfected and tested over the weekend to be placed back into service.
The Authority repair works commenced 21 February following the National Roads Authority reinstatement of the road base in this area.
The Metering Department will re-connect all customers in this area today.
The Water Authority extends its thanks to all their valued customers for their continued patience and understanding whilst these works were undertaken, a press release states.
