Beginning 1 July, Cayman Airways will operate two round-trip flights a week between Grand Cayman and Orlando through 5 September.
A press release from the airline states, ‘This non-stop flight aboard Cayman Airways B737 jet will take you to one of the world’s most popular family vacation play grounds and one of Florida’s most exciting destinations – Orlando.’
Flights will operate on Mondays and Fridays allowing passengers the opportunity to plan for a weekend trip or to stay for a longer period.
The schedule is as follows:
Grand Cayman – Orlando:
Flight KX 2520, Departure 11.55am, Arrival 2:35pm, Fridays;
Flight KX 2522, Departure 5:15pm, Arrival 7:55pm, Mondays.
Orlando – Grand Cayman
Flight KX2521, Departure 3.35pm, Arrival 4.15pm, Fridays;
Flight KX 2523, Departure 8:55pm, Arrival 9:35pm.
An ‘early-bird’ sale fare is being offered for the Orlando service, and is available for ticketing until 8 April. The base fare for travel to/from Grand Cayman to/from Orlando will have a base fare of $219; and for passengers coming from or continuing on to Cayman Brac or Little Cayman, an additional $50 is applicable to the base fare. Travel with the ‘early-bird’ sale fare is valid from 1 July 1 thru 5 September, says the release.
