BrightStaff expands Toronto office

Recruitment specialists Cheryl Farquharson and Laura Hurley have joined the new Toronto office of BrightStaff, a Cayman Islands-based recruitment firm.

Prior to joining BrightStaff, Cheryl Farquharson was a Senior Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers where she was responsible for Human Resources and Recruitment, said a company press release.

Her skills and experience, both as an Accountant and a Human Resources Manager, provide her with unique insight into the recruitment of professional accountants, the release said.

Laura Hurley has sales and marketing experience and possesses a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Relations from Concordia University, Montreal, Quebec.

BrightStaff owns and operates a global network of offices in commonwealth countries such as the United Kingdom, Canada, and New Zealand. Historically, these countries are associated with a high calibre of professionals with financial services experience, the release said.

Its Toronto office is located at First Canadian Place, 100 King Street West, in the First Canadian Tower.
