I recently read in the newspaper about a dog being ‘viciously’ attacked in West Bay. This appalled me.
Being an animal lover and a good natured person, I could not understand how anyone could do something like this.
The report stated that the dog suffered lacerations to his throat, face, body and that most of his tail had been amputated. At this point in the story I was ready to cry. This kind of stuff is what you see on television about people in the US, not something you think would happen here, especially not so close to home.
I recently just moved to West Bay and was considering getting a dog. I’ll think twice now.
The report also stated that he wagged what was left of his tail when the veterinarian came to get him.
I think that Cayman needs to lay down a few laws against animal cruelty and enforce those already in place. Cayman needs a few Animal Cops.
The people who abuse animals don’t just stick to animals, they hurt people as well. Thus the reason stuff like these needs to be reported and investigated, not to mention the sick individual thrown in jail.
We need to speak for those who can’t. I want this person to be caught because there is a list of beings that people like this can hurt and no one would know who did it.
Can we please put together a team of Animal Cops? How about a Special Victims Unit?
We need something like this. Is it possible that ordinary citizens can come together and make this on our own?
