Four-year-old leads pack

Rozandy Giscombe, four, a Kindergarten student at Cayman Academy raised $2,004.87 during Cayman Academy’s Home School Association Trash-a-Thon, which culminated 19 March.

The money will be used to assist with the development of the school’s science lab and physical education program.

On Sunday, 19 March, 75 students and parents removed 55 bags of garbage from Barkers Beach in West Bay where 700 to 800 tourists enjoy horse back riding daily.

Elder William Ebanks, president, Cayman Academy’s Home School Association, coordinated the program.

Cayman Academy is owned and operated by the Islands Cayman Conference of Seventh-day Adventists.
