Next Generation Lakeland Villa homes are the latest in hurricane-rated homes available from Pro Plus Construction and Realty.
The homes are off Old Crewe Road at the King’s Sports Centre roundabout. Lakeland Villa offers a short trip to shopping at Grand Harbour, schools, churches and a bypass. Three major routes into George Town make commuting a breeze, states a press release.
‘We toured Lakeland Villas and were impressed with the way Pro Plus has addressed safety issues, and gone the extra mile by building on piles that are an average of 18 feet deep on bedrock,’ said recent buyer Soma Pradeep. ‘Steel reinforced columns rise seven feet above the ground to allow flood water to flow through without compromising the building’s safety. Leading engineers and consultants have contributed to the design of these Next Generation homes. And the 4,000 PSI poured concrete slabs further add to the strength of these structures.’
Windows throughout the complex are PGT windows which are Dade County, Florida, approved and come equipped with hurricane shutters.
All the tiles, wood flooring, carpet and kitchen cabinets have been installed by a leading interior finisher. Solid wood cabinets are part of the standard finish. The appliances are top-of-the line throughout, and owners may choose to upgrade to stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. The living room and dining room ceilings are 12-feet and there is an abundance of storage space.
There are walk-in closets in each bedroom, and beneath the building, there’s a large unfinished area. Each unit also comes with an enclosed garage and two outside parking spaces. The master bedrooms are larger than average, and the master bathroom is a plus, the release stated.
High efficiency 12 SEER split-system air conditioning units are designed to provide maximum comfort while keeping energy bills down, and the AC pads are 6-feet above ground for more protection. Each unit comes with its own generator to protect against loss of electric service.
The lots are landscaped and a complete irrigation system connects all the corners of the property. A lake has been constructed on the site for aesthetics, and for storm water management. Three fountains add to the lake’s beauty and keep the water fresh and children are protected by the wall around the lake.
For safety, afire hydrant is centrally located in the development. Fenced back yards give homeowners garden spots and room for children to play.
Lakeland Villas will boast three phases on completion with a total of 80 units. Three swimming pools, a kids’ play area, and footpaths add to the development’s charm.
‘Pro Plus has built Lakeland Villas to combine the charm and comfort we want in our home, and the security of knowing these homes are designed to withstand the worst nature has to offer. We found what we were looking for at Lakeland Villas, and found it to be affordable, too,’ Soma Pradeep said.
