Two young men appeared in Summary Court on Tuesday charged with attempted murder.
They are Sean Kennedy Jackson, 20, and Raymond Mark Solomon, 21, both Caymanians of Bodden Town addresses.
In her objections to bail, Crown Counsel Kirsti-Ann Gunn noted that the victim suffered three stab wounds to the back and one to the side.
The incident leading to the charge occurred on Impulse Close in Bodden Town early on the morning of Sunday, 16 July.
Magistrate Nova Hall remanded both defendants in custody for another seven days.
Jackson was represented by Attorney Lloyd Samson. Solomon did not have a lawyer.
According to a press release from the Royal Cayman Islands Police, the victim, 20, was recovering, having received a laceration to the lung.
