Butterfield welcomes investment associate

Butterfield Bank (Cayman) Limited recently welcomed a new member to its Investment Services Department.

Ben Marler joins the group as an Investment Associate whose primary responsibilities include executing trades for the bank’s Investment Department as well as supervising the Client Administration Team, said a Butterfield press release.

‘Ben is a dedicated investment professional with a solid background in financial services. He has worked as an Investment Associate on Bay Street in Canada with one of the top 100 brokers at BMO Nesbitt Burns,’ the press release reads.

Educated in Canada, Ben holds a BA degree from the University of British Columbia. He has also completed the Canadian Securities Course and the Professional Financial Planning Course through the Canadian Securities Institute.

‘My focus will be to use my experience in the financial industry to efficiently execute trades in a timely manner as well as ensure that our clients receive top quality service from the Client Administration Team,’ he said.

Ben added that he is enjoying the opportunity to work with the dynamic group of investment professionals at Butterfield Bank.
