Support your library

The Bodden Town Public Library is completed and re-opened. It is well equipped with Internet station for use by adults and children, but it is not getting the support that it needs. There is a lovely young lady who is assisting, but we need the children of the Bodden Town district to visit more often.

To the parents and guardians of the district, I would like to say, ‘Support your library’ By having a library in our district it helps democracy survive by providing access to information in order that we may make the decisions which is necessary to govern ourselves.

The library will have a special purpose for each one who enters its doors. It will assist us in guarding ourselves against the tyranies of ignorance.

Parents and guardians, the library needs your support. Remember at the library we are all children. We can become stimulated and curious, opening our minds beyond its horizons, taking us from a simple common place in society to the extraordinary.

Your child will get a handle on responsibility by just being able to own a library card. That card will give them an access to a new world of books, videos and audio tapes computers and more.

Visiting the library will assist your child with personal goals and make families friendlier. It certainly will offer guaranteed service, training, parenting materials, after-school activities, Summer Reading Programs, outreach and adaptation to new challenges.

Join, and visit your library today. It will give you a physical reaction of peace respect and honor. Your minds will be opened to near-spiritual pleasures, and “Why”, it’s because we are answerable to no one, just alone with our private thoughts, fantasies and hopes.

God bless those that made it happened.
