East End residents in Welcome Way and Findlers Way have teamed up with Neighbourhood Police Officer, PC Lenford Butler, to launch a new Neighbourhood Watch scheme.
‘I am very happy to see the community coming together in this way to help implement this very important crime prevention method during the first quarter of the year,’ said Mr. Butler.
‘Everyone has been extremely enthusiastic about the scheme and I look forward to continue working with the people of East End to help keep the district as safe as it can be’.
East End residents with issues and concerns or those wanting advice about crime prevention should contact PC Lenford Butler on 926-0625, states an RICP press release.
Anyone with information about crime taking place in the Cayman Islands should contact their local police station or Crime Stoppers on 800-8477 (TIPS). Callers to crime stoppers remain anonymous, and are eligible for a reward of up to $1000, should their information lead to an arrest or recovery of property/drugs.
