dms sells Attic, O Bar

dms Organization has sold The Attic and the O Bar to Joe DeFilippo.

‘We are extremely pleased with the deal,’ said Don Seymour, president of dms. ‘The Attic was the first company to become part of the dms conglomerate in 1996, then known as the Chelsea’s Sports Bar. Over the years, we have worked hard at developing the business and drawing in a large loyal community of clientele, turning The Attic into one of Cayman’s finest billiards bar and lounge. We then opened the O bar next door in July 2001 and quickly established it as Cayman’s premier nightclub.

‘A crucial part of dms Organization’s strategy for success is that we continue to grow and evolve our businesses. We are reducing our exposure in the retail and entertainment sectors and increasing our investments in commercial real estate and media. It is with this in mind that we decided to sell The Attic and O Bar to Mr. DeFilippo. We are confident that he will continue to provide the Attic and O Bar’s customers with the highest level of service that they have become accustomed to.’

The Attic is open on Monday to Friday, 5pm – 1am, Saturday & Sunday, 1pm until midnight and is on the second floor of Queens Court Plaza, Seven Mile Beach.

O Bar is open Monday through Friday, from 10pm to 3am and is next to The Attic on the second floor of Queens Court Plaza Seven Mile Beach.
