Rebranding Cayman

Maybe the Department of Tourism should change from Sir Turtle, a dear logo of the islands, to the dollar sign, the new logo of the islands.

That would bring in the ‘high-end’ income visitors they are looking for and phase out even more of the history, culture and true Caymanian experience that Sir Turtle stood for.

The Cayman product has suffered enough for the sake of the dollar. It may be too late to save the Seven Mile Beach area but the rest of the country still has a chance to recapture the Cayman Islands of old that we loved and adored and spent many years supporting through our tourism.
