Child Month has begun with a range of activities taking place throughout the month of May that relate to the theme, To Each Child: A Family.
‘Child Month is a celebration of our children, but also a vital reminder that we must be constant advocates for their rights, and faithful teachers of their responsibilities,’ Human Services Minister Anthony Eden said. ‘We are deeply grateful to our foster families who successfully nurture our children.’
Mr. Eden, who is responsible for the Department of Children and Family Services, spoke during the observance’s launch, which was held. Child Month is organised by CFS staff.
